India achieves 50 per cent clean power capacity target 5 years ahead of schedule
The Centre on Monday proudly announced that India has achieved a major milestone in its energy transition journey by reaching 50 per cent of its installed electricity capacity from non-fossil fuel sources, five years ahead of the target set under its Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) to the Paris Agreement.
India looking to diversify import of rare earth elements, keen on self-reliance in critical minerals
New Delhi: India is making efforts to diversify its supply on rare earth materials and also establish a robust framework for self-reliance in the critical minerals, which are crucial for the clean energy technology and for electronics sector, sources said.
India hits 50% renewable power milestone well ahead of 2030 target: Waaree Energies, Adani Green and NTPC Green in focus
